Christopher M. Farish – Quaid Farish – Dallas, TX Collaborative Divorce Lawyers

Christopher M. Farish is a member of Quaid Farish, LLC., and is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He practices in the area of collaborative divorce family law and family law litigation, handling divorce, custody, child support, paternity, adoption, and enforcement cases, as well as handling some small estate wills, and a small amount of general civil and corporate litigation.

Chris received his J.D. from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. He received his B.A. in English Composition with a Certification in Technical Writing from the University of North Texas, where he graduated with honors.

While in law school, Chris studied mediation and dispute resolution at the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at Pepperdine University.

Chris is the former President of the Collaborative Professionals of Dallas, the Collin County Young Lawyers Association and the Legacy Family Court Foundation, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation charged with raising funds to support the Legacy Family Court Foundation of Dallas County and was listed on the Texas Super Lawyers – Rising Stars List each year from 2009 – 2014 and has been listed on the Texas Super Lawyers list every year from 2014 to the present. Chris was included on the Best Lawyers list every year from 2014 to the present and has received an AV Preeminent Rating on Martindale-Hubbell by his peers.

Chris is currently the President of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Corporation charged with promoting peaceful and respectful resolution of family disputes across the world, and has served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2013. In addition, Chris is currently the Vice-Chair of the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association and has served on the Board of Directors since 2012.

Chris is a member of Collaborative Divorce Texas, a statewide organization promoting Collaborative Divorce as an alternative to traditional divorce, and is a member of Collaborative Divorce Dallas, a practice group comprised of many well respected and successful collaborative practitioners in the Dallas area.
